Guided and Monitored Tours
There are many places and tourist attractions in São Paulo that offer Guided Tours so that you learn about architecture, history and curiosities about the city.
We attended in some of these visits that are worth doing because they convey a lot of knowledge in an interactive way and also because of cultural richness they offer.
Theatro Municipal and Praça das Artes (free)
In addition to learn about and appreciate the beautiful architecture of the Theatro Municipal (Municipal Theater) and Praça das Artes (Square of Arts) you can know about the story of the theater and discover interesting aspects of the works and sculptures, as well as the artistic characteristics of each environment.
The Theatro Municipal and Praça das Artes offer monitored visits in Portuguese and sometimes in English, from Tuesday to Saturday. Check the schedule on the website and arrive one hour in advance to sign up.

Galeria do Rock (Rock and Roll Gallery) (BRL 10.00)
A place that is becoming more and more a tourist attraction because of diversity of alternative styles. The visit tells us the trajectory of the place to this day and curiosities about the Gallery.

Sala São Paulo (BRL 5.00)
Getting to know Sala São Paulo is to learn about the history of São Paulo city and about the acoustics of one of the most modern concert halls in the world.
From Monday to Friday at 1:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Saturdays at 1:30 p.m.
Sundays and on Morning Concert days at 1pm

Catedral da Sé (Sé Cathedral) (BRL 7.00)
The Guided Tour through the crypt of Sé Cathedral is where you will have the opportunity to see rare objects and one of the only 5 reproductions of the Holy Shroud in the world, as well as beautiful sculptures with religious themes.

Clubes de Futebol (Soccer Clubs) (tickets between BRL 15.00 and BRL 40.00)
The main Soccer Teams of São Paulo, Corinthians, Palmeiras, São Paulo and Santos offer monitored visits that tell interesting aspects of the teams’ stories, curiosities and visits to rooms with the memory of the teams.

Edifício Matarazzo (Matarazzo Building) (free)
The sumptuous Edifício Matarazzo (Matarazzo Building), now headquarter of São Paulo’s City Hall, offers guided tours that take place from Monday to Saturday at 10:30 a.m., 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. and do not require previous scheduling, however, since only 10 places are available, is asked to arrive an hour in advance.
The visit, which lasts approximately 1 hour, besides telling the story of the Matarazzo family’s trajectory and its influence during a period of the history of São Paulo, shows the architectural aspects of the Building, as well as a visit to the hanging gardens on the roof of the Building .

Memorial da Resistência (Memorial of Resistance) (free)
Educational visits to Memorial da Resistência (Memorial of Resistance) are made by prior scheduling, from Tuesday to Sunday lasting approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
The educators tell an important political moment in Brazilian history, in addition to taking visitors to each environment and describe the suffering of prisoners and how the political prisons were at that time.

Edifício Copan (Copan Building) (free)
The proposal is to observe the city of São Paulo from a privileged view on the top of Copan Building, in addition to knowing its sinuous architecture designed by the architect Oscar Niemeyer.
The visits are held from Monday to Friday at 10:30am and 3:30pm by prior scheduling by the email: firstname.lastname@example.org. It is necessary to arrive 15 minutes in advance.
